ANNOUNCING the track list of One Hello World's debut album, "The Listener" →
With the help of Kickstarter backers, I’ve drawn upon the past year and half of One Hello World to compile this humble blog’s 30-track debut album, “The Listener”. The collection of recordings explores a broad range of experiences, reaching across the world (with voicemails from abroad) and addressing unique perspectives regarding controversial issues. It chronicles viewpoints on the assassination of Osama bin Laden, the failure of the Dream Act and the struggles of Occupy Wall Street. It also presents deeply personal accounts of daily life, with a caller recounting the joys of fatherhood and another the pain of losing a brother to suicide. There’s love, love lost and discovering yourself - all with their own soundtrack.
